Commencement Livestream click here . Comments (-1) BHSN Spring Musical Revue BHSN Performing Arts will be producing a musical revue this spring. Auditions are open to everyone and can be accessed by clicking this link: https://forms.gle/eeW5EtLpfnLBYQcC6 . The revue will take place in the auditorium the weekend of May 7th. The show will consist of a collection of songs and scenes ranging from individual performances to full ensemble numbers. Students will be masked and socially distanced at all times. The senior class has worked hard to reach this milestone, putting countless hours towards academics and activities, and we are excited to celebrate their accomplishments over the next several weeks. We hope the information that follows will help you plan your schedule as we move towards graduation on June 5, 2021. Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, MCCSC has either reduced or modified traditional end-of-year events to comply with local health department restrictions and safety needs. Though we regret that we cannot host a prom for 2021, we are pleased to announce that commencement will take place in-person and outdoors at the BHSN Football Stadium with limited family seating and a livestream broadcast. Comments (-1) GEMS Club Participate in National Competition The following students qualified for the National CyberStart America cybersecurity competition held April 5th -7th and represented Bloomington High School North as part of the girls in engineering, math and science club (GEMS Club). They are part of the 143 students who qualified out of 737 students that participated from Indiana. Congratulations! Students from the GEMS Club have qualified for the national cybersecurity competition for the last three years consecutively. Comments (-1) BHSN Science Olympiad BHSN science Olympiad team placed 3rd in the State Science Olympiad competition held Saturday March 20th organized by Purdue University. The team had 23 medals from 23 events wihich included 13 top 4 placements and 20 top 7 placements. This is their best placement in 7 years although the team has consistently placed top 5 in the state competition. Awesome job BHSN Science Olympiad! Comments (-1) JaQualon Roberts 2021 Outstanding Black Leader of Tomorrow JaQualon "JQ" Roberts, a sophomore at Bloomington High School North, was the high school male recipient. The individual who nominated Roberts said he was involved with the Monroe County Community School Corp.’s re-entry committee as a student representative. He’s active in the community and aspires to study sports management, sports nutrition or athletic training, with a goal of becoming one of the best players in the NBA.
